148A Mill Street, Creemore ON L0M 1G0
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to set up.

Chuck Baker is a visual artist, singer /songwriter and director of art & music at Nottawasaga Pines Secondary School. Tony Burgess is also a visual artist, songwriter and award winning author and screenwriter. Together this duo make music together in a local band called Lucy Jinx. They also were nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for their partnership in the film Cult Hero.
After collaborating for years, they have developed a unique process they refer to as hook-based automatic writing that imposes certain restrictions to fuel creativity.

Open to writers and musicians as well as visual artists, this workshop will demonstrate how the creative process is universal. Chuck and Tony will guide the class in exercises that focus on spontaneous creation rather than an expected outcome or product.
Materials (large paper, writing/drawing/painting/collage tools)are provided but feel free to bring anything you want to work with.
We will have a brief lunch break so please bring your lunch or there are several cafe options in the village.
